Welcome to Leonard Educational and Psychological Services (LEAPS). LEAPS provides Independent Educational Evaluations in Pennsylvania and Independent Child Study Team Evaluations in New Jersey. We assist parents, school districts, law firms, and advocates with private and/or second opinion assessments. The results of our testing determine if a child has a disability. Parents usually share this information with the school to determine if their child can be classified and is able to receive special education services or a 504 Plan.

We can assist with various issues such as: Comprehensive Testing and Evaluations, Counseling, Family Behavioral Modification Program, Case Management, Wraparound Services, Out of District Placement for Special Education Students. We also assist with Multidisciplinary Evaluation, Gifted Evaluation, School Placement, Independent Evaluation Services, Expert Witness, Second Independent Evaluation, Independent Child Study Team Evaluation, Private Evaluation, Educational Evaluation, Educational Assessment, Special Education Evaluation. We also conduct Independent Psychological Evaluation and determine if students have a Specific Learning Disability in Math, Reading, Writing, Oral Expression, and Listening Comprehension Skills, ADHD, ADD, Attention, Hyperactivity-Impulsivity; As well as Mental Retardation, Cognitive Mild Impairment, Auditory Impairment, Other Health Impaired, Communication Impaired, Emotional Disturbance, Social Skills, Aspergers Syndrome, Autistic, and Autism. In addition, we assist in assessing Depression, Mood Disorder, BiPolar Disorder, Anxiety, Low Self-Esteem, Conduct Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. We work in Special Education and assist Student Services, Pupil Services in developing Individualized Education Plans, and Behavior Problems in New Jersey and Pennsylvania schools as a Certified School Psychologist in NJ and PA.
